Tramadol hydrochloride tablets (ULTRAM) is a centrally acting analgesic. The chemical name for tramadol hydrochloride is (±) cis-2 [(Dimethylamin) methyl] - 1 hydrochloride of the Cyclohexanols (3-methoxyphenyl). Its structural formula is:
The molecular weight tramadol of the hydrochloride is 299.8. Tramadol hydrochloride is know, bitter, kristallenes and odorless propellant. It is readily soluble in the water and in ethanol and has pKa from 9.41. The Noktanol/Wassermaschinenbordbuchfachkoeffizient (logP) is 1,35 at pH 7. ULTRAM tablets contain magnesium 50 tramadol of the hydrochloride and are white in the color. Unaktivierte of components in the tablet are corn strength, Hydroxypropanol Methylzellulose, Laktose, magnesium stearate, micro-crystalline cellulose, PL glycol, Polysorbat 80, sodium strength Glycolate, titanium dioxide and wax.
